Israeli food is based on the Mediterranean diet. "Cooking With Love" uses lean meat and poultry, loads of fruit and vegetables and Olive Oil. One should always steam vegetables instead of boiling them. The latter loses most of their nutrients and mineral contents. As you will see when you read, "Cooking With Love", this is explained in great detail. Always use bright and dark colored fruits and vegetables. The dark color is always a sign of extra nutrients.
